Urban Solutions (US) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1994. Our mission supports the development of at-risk youth by providing training and support resources designed to strengthen their academic, technology and life skills. US implements after school programs for at-risk students designed to:

• build and improve the current academic skills of program participants;
• prepare them for college
• develop technology, financial and life skills
• build youth leadership through youth development activities.

Since its inception, US has served more than 2000 youth. Annually, US serves 200 youth ages 15 – 19 years old who attend high schools, alternative, small and charter high schools located respectively in the following Chicago neighborhoods: Kenwood/Oakland/Grand Blvd., Woodlawn, Auburn-Gresham, Washington Park, Douglas Park, Chatham, and Englewood.
